Aardman Classics Stamps Revealed

With the UK movie release date literally around the corner, the media's been buzzing with Shaun news. As well as several TV appearances by the film's directors and stars, Shaun and the Flock have been brightening up the news stands by making the cover of the Radio Times magazine!

The fantastic cover accompanies an in-depth 4-page interview with Nick Park and takes a peek into the making of the film, as well as finding out how the concept for Shaun first came into being. In the interview, Nick explains how Shaun went from being a minor character in the Wallace & Gromit film 'A Close Shave' into a worldwide phenomeon, whose cheeky but lovable persona has captivated fans of all ages, right across the globe.

You can read about Nick Park's cameo in the film - a 'blink or you'll miss it' moment, but one to look out for in the movie (clue: Nick can be seen wearing a pair of binoculars...) Another lucky person to get a small part in the film is Jennie King, who you may remember won our competition with Radio Times to find Shaun's biggest fan. As the winner of the contest, Jennie has had her likeness made into a model that appears during the movie! Lucky Jennie was also in attendance at the UK premiere to see her big screen debut.

As an extra treat for Radio Times readers, Aardman has created an original animation which can be viewed by downloading the free Blippar app. You'll need a copy of the magazine to activate the exclusive content, as well as the film's trailer and a movie picture gallery.

The Radio Times is available from all good newsagents and supermarkets, and the Shaun the Sheep edition is on sale now, covering TV schedules for the 31st January-6th February. Get your copy today!
