Your Guide to Shaun in the City Bristol

With the Shaun in the City Bristol trail starting today, we’ve put together a handy little guide that gives you all the info you need to know before you go Shaun spotting!

The Trail
Following a hugely successful London trail in April, 70 additional Shauns will line the streets of Bristol for 2 months from 6th July - 31st August After the trail has ended, you’ll have the opportunity to see all 120 statues together at a special exhibition in London and Bristol. Keep an eye on the Shaun in the City website for more information.

How Do I Find Shaun? Maps & App
The Shaun in the City “Sheep Spotter” app is available on the Google Play and iTunes stores for £1.49, with all proceeds going to Wallace & Gromit’s Childrens’ Charity. The app covers both the London and Bristol trails and allows you to find and tick off all the Shauns as you go along! There are also lots of fun achievements to unlock and a stats board that will tell you how fellow Shaun spotters are doing!

Maps will also be available from locations around Bristol plus as a download from the Shaun and the City website.

Are all the Shauns within walking distance?
Some of the Shaun sculptures are accessible on foot – take a look at the map or download the app for details of distances, times the trails take to complete (the app even measures how far you’ve walked for fitness!), and postcode details.

The sculptures can also be accessed by public transport – visit www.travelwest.info/buschecker to help plan your route!

Can I buy merchandise?
You can buy official merchandise in the Shaun in the City online shop (new products will be added throughout the trail) or if you’re based in Bristol, visit Wallace and Gromit’s Charity Shop at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway for a host of Shaun the Sheep and Shaun in the City merchandise. The shop also features a special Down on the Farm exhibition, showcasing smaller Shaun the Sheep sculptures designed by schools from all across the region. Baa-rilliant!

Anything else?
Don’t forget to visit the brand new Shaun in the City website and social media channels, which will give you lots more information on the trail of 2 cities – happy Shaun hunting!
