    Hi All,

Next up were are a couple of shots I did on a different episode. In the first of these I had a bright light, representing a projector, shining from the background. The idea was to have it shining with a 'starry' effect, and so the positions of the sheep in the foreground were crucial. I spent some time posing them, and once they were I had to animate some object collapsing in the backgorund, thus revealing the light. Then other lights had to come on.

The first few photos show the set up of this shot. Because it was very dark (apart from the bright light when it appeared) I had to have my settings on my monitor adjusted, just so I coud see what I was animating. The trouble with sheep is - they are camouflaged in darkness!

The third photo shows some haystacks that were specially rigged in order to let them tumble over. I won't give anymore of the story away, but Photo 5 shows the set up for a little gag! More shots to discuss tomorrow...

    Hi Samuel,

You're very welcome. More to come later tonight...

Wow, i am still amazed of how you and the crew create 30 min clips that are taken shot by shot. How long does it take to make a single episode?
BTW, keep up the good work!

    Hi PocketMonster,

It's hard to say how long each episode takes, since we shoot multiple ones at a time, but I'd say, on average, each one is about three weeks' work, with a crew of about 14 animators. It really does vary though, depending on the complications in each episode.

Glad you like what we're doing!

WOW. It′s great that you and the animators can actually acomplish such tasks like this. Great stuff Richard! I'm sure once your crew is done doing the hard work, they enjoy watching the clips they've made. GREAT ACOMPLISHMENT!

    Thanks PocketMonster!

Yes, we do all enjoy watching everything back. Actuially, the crew watch the week's 'rushes' at the end of today, and it was great to see so many material that you can laugh out loud to! :)

    Best wishes,

    Richard
