   Hi I’m Kate and I’m a model maker on Shaun the sheep. Here are some photos of model making HQ:
   
   
   
   There are currently seven of us working in model making we each have our own desk and our own tool box it’s a big thing in model making to collect stickers for our tool boxes:
   
   
   
   This is a picture of how my desk should look…………but also how it usually looks!
   
   
   
   I’m responsible for making all the individual parts that make up the finished sheep, and maintaining all the sheep. This means, that if a sheep gets damaged during animation we repair it and send it back.
   
   When I’m not in model making I’m usually in the chemical room mixing together highly toxic chemicals that we use in the process of model making. The chemicals are in liquid form but when they are mixed together they undergo a reaction and we end up with different types of material from hard plastic to soft silicone and this is moulded to make the different parts of the sheep. We have to wear protective clothing whilst we do this:

   I love the pictures,the explanations about your job and Shaun's family. I always watch the chapters with my grandson Benjamin David. We are from Argentina.I am Alicia and wear glasses.
