Shaun's regular antics are entertaining millions of viewers across the globe using the universal language of silent comedy, bringing visual comedy to a new generation who have never even heard of the silent greats!

To celebrate, Shaun will be involved with Bristol’s Slapstick Festival later this month in 2 baa-rilliant events:

Cinékids Shaun the Sheep Workshop: Saturday 22nd January, 1pm @ Watershed, Bristol
Immerse yourself in Shaun’s world on the big screen with full episode screenings of hilarious farmyard antics ahead of Slapstick Festival, plus a look at what makes Shaun tick with Aardman Animations animator Richard Haynes. Followed by a free hands-on animation workshop led by Richard (places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.)

Cinékids is for children between 8 and 12 years old.

It’s Shaun the Sheep! Sunday 30th January, 2pm @ Watershed, Bristol
Join Aardman’s Creative Director and animator Richard Goleszowski, aka Golly, in conversation with Sir Christopher Frayling who will discuss the development and popularity of Aardman’s favourite woolly character, using extracts from the shows and original models.

A show for young and young at heart!

Cool! 2 shows then! I take it when it says 'Watershed' it means the normal one, before 9:00pm.

Shaun and the Ewe - Watershed is a venue in Bristol where the events are being held, unfortunately they're not on TV!

By Shaun and the Ewe Jan 12th 2011

Oh right, I knew it was not on TV I just thought it meant watershed like on TV, for instance swearing isn't supposed to be allowed on until after watershed.

@Shogg, That's Millennium Square in Bristol, which is very close to the Aardman studios. Did you like Bristol?
