Bit too late katie, the website launched a few weeks ago. ; )

Haha nothing gets past you aj ;) Have you heard of a soft-launch for a website? We wanted to make sure that any little bugs were ironed out before announcing it to the world..

By Shaun and the Ewe Jan 7th 2011

Yep, it was up a while ago but as katie said that was the soft version, also katie, ajmole doesn't like being called aj. ;)

I can't tell the difference. And I've never heard of a soft-launch. And SATE is correct, even me profile says so. ;)

A soft-launch is kinda the first edition of a website, they release it but keep checking it works fine incase there are any bugs or glitches, a bit like you get first edition books, but for a website. ;)

Urm,is there a forum on there?

    By timmythesheep848 Jan 12th 2011

I think there's going to be.

But we already have a forum

By Ellie M Aardman Staff Jan 14th 2011

Yes there is going to be a forum on there, but as it's a German site it'll be a German-language forum, so this one will remain as it is :)

    Ellie-aardie-M (Ellie M in german,infact it's not in german,just made it up )

Does this mean there will be new mods on the forum there,or can you secretely talk german using google translater :D

By Ellie M Aardman Staff Jan 17th 2011

@Shogg- The moderators on Shaun das Schaf have to speak fluent German as even Google translate wouldn't be up to translating hundreds of pages of forum posts.

I feel a bit sad as not as many german people will come to this site now.
