   It was announced last night that Shaun the Sheep has won the 2010 Children and Young People award at the International Emmys!
   
   
   
   Shaun beat off stiff competition from other international programmes to scoop the award at a ceremony held in New York last night.
   
   As well as scooping the International Emmy, Shaun’s second series also picked up a Writer’s Guild Award earlier in the week for Best Children’s Television Drama/Comedy...now all Aardman need to do is figure how to split the award between the 26 writers who worked on the series!
   
   Well done to Shaun and all the crew!
