   I am glad for getting this, but why did the UK get it 2, yes TWO, years before us?? They got it before Series 2 was announced, and we get it after 20 episodes of Series 2??? Why does the USA have to wait 2 years for something we deserve!?

   ajmole, that sounds quite rude, i don't know if you meant it to be(probably not) but it does. I'm sorry. Aardman is British, you get it whereas some countries don't, and you are the 2nd country I believe that even has the boxset. Anyway, they have to get licences, and shipping plans sorted out for the USA, it takes a long time.

    ajmole - it's all down to the broadcasters - they decide when to buy it and when to air it I'm afraid But things are looking up and who knows, perhaps by series 3 the US will have caught up!

    Is it true that the original series one was produced in widescreen and US viewers are only getting fullscreen DVDs? If so, what can we do to get the complete series one set in the proper aspect ratio?

    Hello... my wife and I discovered Shaun on Netflix for our daughter. I am particularlly proud to say that Shaun displaced Barney, which she rarely watches now!!!
    
    Anyway, we have watched season one over and over again, but I was wondering if there was any word on further season releases in the US.
