Cluny the Scourge has come to Mossflower the young mouse Matthias id destend to save them all.... with the help of the spirit of Martin the Warrior............... read the book to find out the rest! Oh, by the way, since you said we can talk about any books, has anyone read The 39 Clues? I have read the first 39 Clues. They are all by different authors but they follow on from each other.

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

no, i don't think i have read 39 clues yet ...... is the author Rick Riordan or something like that?????

    By wghtmf Aug 4th 2010

The author of the first one is Rick Riordan but like I said, they all have different authors.

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

ahh ha! thanks! are they all similar and can you give me a spot of info on them?:)

    By wghtmf Aug 4th 2010

Well, they all carry on from each other so read them in order. They are about several spies, racing in the biggest treasure hunt in history: the 39 clues. There are 39 clues, respectively, which they must use to get the treasure. The main characters at the start of the book are Amy and Dan Cahill, but others join them.

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

thanks! the books sound immensley interesting and i WILL pick 'em up at the library!!!:)

    By wghtmf Aug 4th 2010

    The website is fun. http://www.the39clues.com
Though there are mission games there, you should play them after you've read the corresponding book (and play the training mission after you've read the first book and before you've played the main first mission.)

    By ajmole Aug 4th 2010

Hello there! How's the weather where you live? Here it's darkish, even though its about 1:30 PM.

I like The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. It's like his Percy Jackson series, but only a girl and a boy, it's Egyptian gods and they have to destroy a pyramid, not rescue a lighting bolt.

    By ajmole Aug 4th 2010

I read that series! I quit the series after about 15 of the books because I was getting bored with it.

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

th 15th book WAS the last one.... i own it:D

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

it's 2:24 p.m and it liiks stormy in New England. i am going to the library so i will check out the red pyramid

    By ajmole Aug 4th 2010

Hmm, maybe it was 10 books. I don't remember it, it was about 2 years ago.

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

i based my poem about Bess in the palace of mists
    here it goes;
    Boreal Owl
    As the dusk settles in
and the last rays of golden light disappear over the horizon,
a series of hoots break the silence of the night.
The glorious voice of a boreal owl.
The trees sway and the rythmic whistling of the boreal forms into a song.
    not of mournig or hope,
but a wild song of mystery and wonder.
    Like chimes in the night.
Like a gentle breeze rustling over a sea of wheat.
The song tells a story, a story about the great cycle.
The summer turning to fall, the leaves falling and autumn
turning to winter, the new buds sprouting from the trees in spring,
and of living and dying. A song of mystery and wonder.0:)

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

it was 15 books...... the author, Kathryn Lasky is writting a new series; Wolves of the beyond and i own the first book Lone Wolf

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

    By charli-girl Aug 4th 2010

Well i think that poems amazing. I can see now why you got first place in that compettion. :)

    By tawnysteps Aug 4th 2010

    thanks! this is Dream Owl
    Dream Owl
She is a wisp of smoke on the wind.
Her breath as soft as cloud fluff.
While her wings and bodt are a soft, shimmering grey.
    She has pale yellow eyes.
    Honest eyes.
At dusk, she seems like an apparition.
During dawn she seems like morning mist.
But in the day, she is an owl.
    A Great Gray owl.
    A ghost owl.
    Smoke on the wind.
