    By Lola1990 Aug 5th 2010

Really? I thought you were English! (as in American)

    By ajmole Aug 5th 2010

I am American. I was born in Wisconsin, but my parents are from Poland, so I'm Polish.

    By Jum Aug 6th 2010

I am Australian My Grandma Uncle, Grandpa and mum are English. My dad is Australian my sister is Australian and I am Australian.

By Shaun and the Ewe Aug 6th 2010

How are you American then ajmole? If you are 100% Polish, and live in America, then you are Polish... You said you were before.

    By funkycheese7000 Aug 6th 2010

She is an American citizen, but she's just of Polish descent. :)

By Shaun and the Ewe Aug 6th 2010

Well then my brother is an American citizen(we always need to update his passport), but he is mostly English, and apparently part-Irish(true), part-Scottish(?) and part-Welsh(?). Same for me.

    By funkycheese7000 Aug 6th 2010

I live in the UK but I'm half Czech. Já nemluvím moc české though. ;) (Já nemluvím moc české = I don't speak much Czech)

By Shaun and the Ewe Aug 6th 2010

Cool!!!! I am going to Prague on monday!!!!! I know a bit of Czech as my dad works there!

    By funkycheese7000 Aug 6th 2010

Well, já nemluvím moc české will be a useful phrase then! It's pronounced 'ya nem-loo-veem mots chesky' ;)

    By tawnysteps Aug 6th 2010

    :)

that is so cool funkycheese7000!!! i can speak polish but would never be able to spell in it like you can do with czech!!!

    By tawnysteps Aug 6th 2010

i think ajmole is more polish than me because my mom was born in america and my dad was born in Poland. guess that makes me a half - blood:-(. *sigh* you're lucky ajmole.

    By tawnysteps Aug 6th 2010

    By Jum Aug 6th 2010

    You spelled mum wrong.

    By Lola1990 Aug 6th 2010

@Jum - That doesn't matter. He/she must be American because how you spell mom is with a u but how Americans spell mom is with a o.

    By Jum Aug 7th 2010

It's not my problem that some people don't know how to spell mum/mom

    By ajmole Aug 7th 2010

tawnysteps does live in the USA, so it's mom over here, not mum. Mum is a term for out of USA people.
