   Wallace and Vomit in Somerset
   
   POPULAR television animated characters Wallace and Gromit have made a surprise entry into a village competition.
   
   Organisers of Wedmore's Turnip Prize, a spoof art contest, confirmed the entrance of the well-known duo, which is to mark 20 years of the famous animated characters created by Aardman animations.
   The sculpture is entitled Wallace & Vomit by Sick Puke and shows Wallace standing in a pile of vomit.
   A competition organiser said: "This is not art it's just regurgitation, which gives it a good chance of winning."
   The closing date for entries is Monday and the winner will be announced at the New Inn, Wedmore, at 6.30pm on December 7.
