   I am very tired today after a busy weekend. How are you? Do you have Mince Pies at Christmas in Germany? Not pies made from minced meat but mincemeat which is sweet and made with currants and fruit peel.

   In the UK you can either make your own mincemeat or buy it in the shops in jars. There is no meat in it so it is suitable for vegetarians.
