    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

Still no idea finlaybear. It must be something that`s quick made because we haven`t got much time for doing something difficult today.

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

What do you have in the fridge and store cupboards?
Bye Lischen, that was short and sweet!

    I`ve got spinach,Salmon,pasta,rice,potatoes,Fishfingers,Shrimps.......lots of things.

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

Are they salmon fillets that you can bake in foil in the oven, you could have it with spinach and baked potatoes or mashed potatoes...?

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

Yes,there are filets you can put in a pan or in the oven. Thanks for that good idea finlaybear! I`ll make then the Salmon with spinach and potatos. :D

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

Glad to be of help, I bake mine with lots of fresh dill on top. Healthy as well as tasty. :D

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

    Oh,that`s also a good idea!Sounds wonderful!
Maby tomorrow I have new ideas for cooking. The new Shaun cooking book is waiting for me then. They tell me in the book shop that I can have it tomorrow.
Isen`t that great?! It`s about Pizza + Pasta.Shaun can cook lots of good things I think.;)

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

He is an extremely talented sheep!
Do you have a lot of cookery programmes on tv? We have lots, like cooking competitions (masterchef) and celebrities cooking... it is really boring. I would rather cook myself than watch others unless it is to show me parts of the world where the ingredients and recipes originate from.

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

Yes,we have good cooking programmes, too. But we don`t look it very often.Only when there`s nothing better on TV.I like to cook for myself, too.
But Shaun can show me some more ideas.I like his cooking books. There are now 3 of them.:)

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

Lucky you, we have none here yet! Looking through cookery books is much more interesting than watching it on tv I think. I have a Cadbury's chocolate cookery book which I have had for ages, it has some wonderful recipes in it. Unfortunately you cannot buy it in the shops. The pictures of the cakes, sweets and biscuits make your mouth water!:D

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

Oh,I think they will be! That`s a book for also me! I`ve never seen it here.I`ve got lots of cookery books. Some are in the kitchen and the others on the loft of my Hb parents. There are to many.I only have the once here I use often.Have you got lots of cookery books, too?
    :)

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

I have lots of vegetarian ones, which I find in charity shops, the last one I bought new was a few months ago. It was to accompany a tv series and has some meat recipes but mostly fish and vegetable dishes. It is recipes from Asia from the British chef Rick Stein. He specialises in fish cooking and has a famous restaurant in Cornwall. I have just scored over 270 on Baldy Dash!|-)

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

Wow! How do you do this? It`s great! :D

That sounds interresting with the famous cook.I`ve never heard his name. Do you cook some recipes from that book sometimes?

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

Not yet, but I am looking forward to doing so when I am a little stronger.
I got 275 this time, with a lot of luck. ;)

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

I always drive a sheep or something else.My score is the same since 1 or 2 weeks.

I like cooking with fish.I often make something very easy with it.I take a baking form, grease it with olive oil,put then tomatoes in slices in it and the Fish on top of the tomatoes. Then onions in slices on top of the Fish and some slices of Lemons.Salt,Pepper and Dill then and another olive Oil.Ready.This for 20 minutes at 180 degrees in oven. How do you like it?:)

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

Just as you have described. One thing though, I cannot bear to see or cook with whole fish. It must be filleted and have the head and tail removed. Ugh! :O
I shall be having plenty of seafood tonight. It is getting very dark here, the rain is not far away.

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

This is Shaun's favourite tv advertisement at the moment!
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/video/2009/may/19/trainline-ad-asa

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

Sorry finlaybear,I forget to say that this is a recipe with filets.Don`t worry.I always buy fresh filets when I make this.

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

This is sweet with the sheep. No wonder that Shaun likes it,too. :)

It`s dark here the whole day.And rain, then stop, then rain again....

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

Glad you liked the advert too! I wonder how long it took to film.
Golly, it is really dark now.

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

Oh,then you get rain, too?! Not nice.
I have to go for today because I have to cook the ( your) dinner now.;)

Hope to see you soon again my friend! Have a good evening! :-X

    By Finlaybear Nov 4th 2009

I must go too nicesheep. I may not be on tomorrow lunchtime as I plan to go into the city but it depends upon the weather. Hope to see you soon. Enjoy your dinner!:D

    By nicesheep Nov 4th 2009

    Thanks finlaybear! Enjoy yours,too! :)
    I`m going to Horse riding tomorrow.So I don`t know if I`m here,too.But we are not getting lost,aren`t we?! ;)

    By Finlaybear Nov 5th 2009

    Are you there nicesheep?:D

    By nicesheep Nov 5th 2009

Yes,hello finlaybear! How are you? :D

    By Finlaybear Nov 5th 2009

Hello, I have just got back from a trip into the city. How are you today?

    By nicesheep Nov 5th 2009

I have a little cold again, not bad.But because it`s raining and because of the cold I don`t go to Horse riding today. If I would do that the cold will be more bad.
Have you found something nice in the City? :)

    By Finlaybear Nov 5th 2009

I collected my contact lenses which are normally posted to me and I bought some make-up and there were some half price chocolates on sale in M&S ( Marks and Spencers) so I bought a box.
Sorry to hear that you have a cold. There were a lot of people coughing and spluttering in the city. It is that time of year for picking up colds I think.

    By nicesheep Nov 5th 2009

    Yes,it is.It comes and goes.
Chocotates are slways the right thing,I like them, too.Next week I need sweets for the children who are coming. It`s "Martin Luther" day then. The children have got latern and sing something. Then they get sweets on the door.Do have this, too?
I wear contact lenses, too.I have to buy them every 2 years. It`s hard lenses not soft. And what about the handbag you would look for?Wasn`t there a nice one?

    By Finlaybear Nov 5th 2009

No we don't have anything like Martin Luther day, can you tell me more about it. It is Guy Fawkes day or Bonfire Night today.
I wear my oxygen permeable contact lenses for 1 month, including sleeping in them then I replace them with new ones. I had too much to carry without looking for a handbag, I shall do that next week.

    By nicesheep Nov 5th 2009

The story of Martin Luther is to difficult to tell in english, sorry. But you can read it at Wikipedia.I just had a look if it`s in.

And what is the Bonfire Night? Can I find this at Wikipedia, too? :)

    By Finlaybear Nov 5th 2009

Yes but look under Guy Fawkes maybe it is there. He tried to blow up our Parliament with gunpowder in the 17 century.
I have heard of Martin Luther but I had no idea that you celebrated it as a special day. I will look on wikipedia now.

    By nicesheep Nov 5th 2009

Oh,no! Amazon just told me that the Shaun is lost and they don`t have another one. They will give us the money back now.:-(

    By I love Bitzer Nov 5th 2009

Guy Fawkes (Guido Fawkes) was an english mate who tried an assassination on king jakob. To commemorate that, this day, the 5. Nov., there are many fireworks and torchlight processions.

    By I love Bitzer Nov 5th 2009

Oh...too late, but I was so busy with writing my text that I didn't see your post, finlaybear...sorry

    By nicesheep Nov 5th 2009

    Hello I love Bitzer! :)

    By I love Bitzer Nov 5th 2009

    @nicesheep:

But here's the Link to the Wikipedia-Articel. I think you can understand it becuase you are german;)

    http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes

    I love Bitzer

    By Finlaybear Nov 5th 2009

Hello I love Bitzer, I think that perhaps you mistyped 'mate' instead of man in your posting. Guy Fawkes was not anyones mate. Are you from Germany too?;)

    By Finlaybear Nov 5th 2009

Don't worry about Shaun nicesheep! Other places have him in stock, you mean the handbag right? We can sort it out easily.

    By I love Bitzer Nov 5th 2009

    @finlaybear:

Yes, I'm german, too. And sorry, I meant officer but when I searched the english word for the german "Offizier", the first word I found was mate which I chose. I haven't read farther where the word officier stood!;)

    By nicesheep Nov 5th 2009

I`ve just searched for Shaun on other sites, also Germans. But I can`t get it here.I like to get the Shoulder Bag and a bleating Shaun. Both I can`t find in Germany.
    Now it`s over.No Shaun anyway.:-(
