Hello nicesheep, how are you today? :D

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

    Hello! Is anyone here? :)

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Oh,hi finlaybear! :D We post the same time! :) I`m fine thanks, and you?

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

I am just a little tired after a busy day yesterday. At least it is sunny here but in the North of England there have been heavy floods and people have needed to be rescued from their homes. I am glad I live on a hill!:)

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Me,too.I`ve read about it in the newspaper today.Poor people who lived there!:-(
Here we have a sunny warm day today. My washing is outside and it`s the second one today I dry outside.

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

Sounds like you have your hands full. There are some big black clouds here, I think we are in for some rain.

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Oh,that`s not good! Hope it stayed dry for you!
What are your plans for the weekend? And what would you have for dinner today?:)

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

Finally I am having the parcel stuffed with mushrooms stilton and pine nuts. Later I shall make a cod, prawn and mushroom potato topped pie for the weekend.
I haven't made any definite plans for the weekend. What about you?

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Sounds all very tasty your dinner! I will cook Milkrice today with fruits and cinnamon sugar. You can eat it hot and cold.Do you like that, too?

For tomorrow we planned a Italien night with our best friends. We cook Italien food and have a good wine.Sunday we don`t know what we will do.Maby meet some other friends.:)

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

I think your milkrice might be a version of what we call ' rice pudding' but I am not sure. If so then it is ok but that is it. We used to have it at school.

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

I'm sure your milkrice is lovely though nicesheep. Sunday we will also probably go out with friends into the countryside and have a meal at a pub or a takeaway.

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Yes,it can be rice pudding.I didn`t know how to translate it.

I saw something sweet in the morning. As I was driving along the fields there were men on the street who stopped all the cars. Then came hundrets of sheep.
They were going on the other side of the street to another pasture with more grass. There was a sheep mummy with a little lamb.So cute to see all the sheep!:)

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

It is very unusual to have a lamb around at this time isn't it? They tend to be born around Spring time.

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Yes,normaly it is about easter.I`ve never seen a lamb in winter, too. This was the first time.I saw a real Shaun, too.one sheep looked like him.

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

How lucky for that sheep! To look like a superstar like Shaun.;)

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Oh,what a nice Shaun photo finlaybear!

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

Yes, it is just that our Shaun doesn't have real sheeps eyes. His are bigger and rounder!

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

But that makes him so cute, don`t you think it makes?:)

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

Oh yes, they are fabulous. I totally agree with you.

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

I have got aching muscles today from the window cleaning yesterday. I had to go up and down and up and down. Now I can`t walk without pain today. But the windows were so dirty because of the rain the last weeks. So I had to do this .:-(

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

I need to do my outside windows, I did the inside ones. I hate cleaning windows. Apparently you can now get self-cleaning ones made from special glass.

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Self cleaning windows? I`ve never heard about this. That`s great for all woman like us who don`t like doing this.

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

Here is the info. I bet you still have to give them a clean now and again. I saw a window- cleaner yesterday walking with his ladders in one hand and his dog on a lead held in his other hand. It made me smile.

    By WhittersINIT Nov 20th 2009

    What.

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

That would make me smile, too if I would see this! :)
I had a look at your side but I will have more looks later. It sounds very interresting.I`ve one time seen a mot of this company here.I think it is very expensive to have those windows. That`s only ok if you have your own house.
What do you think about it?

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

I do need to replace my windows and I would think about it but I agree that they would cost much more than normal windows. They sound environmentally friendly

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

Yes,they do! But good things are always expensive.

The sun is gone now and it`s getting dark slowly. What a pity.

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

What sort of Italian food are you cooking for your friends tomorrow?

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

We are going to cook as a starter first a salad, then a Lasagne and for dessert will will have a Tiramisu.Hope they will like it! :)

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

Sounds lovely, is it a traditional beef lasagne? I bought some ready-made polenta this week. I have a recipe somewhere for this if I can find it again. It was delicious and simple. With chargrilled vegetables and melted cheese I think.

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

    Yes,it`s traditional Lasagne.:)

Yours sounds also very good.We made something with polenta one time, too.
But I don`t know what it was.

    By Finlaybear Nov 20th 2009

I have to go now nicesheep. I have housework to do before the weekend. Hope you have a great time with your friends and I am sure they will love all the food you cook for them.:D

    By nicesheep Nov 20th 2009

I have to go to because my Hb just calls me that he will come home now.So I `m
making the rice pudding now and then we will go foodshopping.
I wish you a wonderful weekend my friend and hope to see you soon again!:-X
