   So how are things at school at the moment - any more weird theme days?

   I'll outline the whole plan for tomorrow
   Theme:CSI Egypt
   Mystery: One of the teachers used a time machine to go to Ancient Egypt to find out more about a mummy. After he got there the time machine broke.
   Goals:To fix the time machine, bring back the teacher and solve the mystery of the mummy.

   I am one of the scientists. I have "taken" an x-ray of the recently discovered mummy and am comparing it to the x-ray of "King Tut"

    Well, if anybody here goes to my school, then don't look!
    The recently discovered mummy has fillings whereas the ancient mummy obviously doesn't.
    Because Canada is awesome! End of story.

    well, I told you what I would be doing, so I did the x-rays all day, some of the answers were pretty funny, I asked for similarities and differences and the most common answers were "they are both x-rays" and "they both have teeth"

    then in an assembly at the end, the professor who had time traveled was found guilty of ruining the crops by the pharoah (who arrived in a chariot pulled by slaves) and the professor was sacrificed by 4 anubis characters while the rest of us chanted.

    No, I did not have to write a report but the messages for the afterlife were written in hieroglyphics.
    Then after the sarcophagus was carried out to the chanting and drumming, we passed into modern time and the two professors left checked the cell phone found in the sarcphogus and the voice mail was something along the lines of "hey its professor *** i'm out for a while, but I'll see you in the afterlife!"

    Some folk are having vaccinations here, those in the Health Service and vulnerable people. I should check with my GP if I need one, I have the usual 'flu jab every year.

    Here there is an interesting plan. In the first round, people over 65, children 2-5, health care workers, pregnant women and those with a chronic condition can get their vaccine. I don't know when everybody else will be able to though. This just started on Monday and I know the clinics in my area reached the capacity within an hour.
