    Hi

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

hi mf, how are things? I have just got back and am really tired so will not stay on here for long. Just want to wind down after a hard day. Do anything weird at school?:D

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

Ok, sure I have some homework to do too
Well, I had a long debate with my "husband" over what to name our kids and we decided on Paprika and Isaac. You can probably guess who chose Paprika This is for a biology project where we are learning about chromosomes and how they combine.

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

Is Paprika a girl, I think so! Nice to talk to you again, obviously Isaac is a bit mainstream for a weirdo parent!!!

By super woolly Oct 29th 2009

    hi:-(

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

Yes, have you ever seen the kid's show called Blue's Clues? It is about a blue dog who solves mysteries and some of the other characters include Mr. Salt (a salt shaker) Mrs. Pepper (obvious one here) and "little baby paprika" I wanted to name the boy Vector, but apparently it was too weird. My partner should just be lucky that I didn't name the boy Amoeba and say that he takes after his father...

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

    Hello super woolly. :D

By super woolly Oct 29th 2009

    you completely ignored me:-(

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

When? I am on two threads at once and trying to write an email as well. I said hi to you. Don't be sad.

By super woolly Oct 29th 2009

ok wanna go on my thread with me and number

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

I am also doing several things at once, so just be patient. Here
HELLO SUPER WOOLLY HOW ARE YOU TODAY?

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

Hey mf that show passed me by, don't think it was on it the UK or maybe I missed it. Shaun is the only 'kids' programme I watch.

By super woolly Oct 29th 2009

im ok thankz see you later oh and by the way ill be on my thread

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

So are you gearing up for the big night. Last fitting for the Victorian costume going well? Can't put on or lose weight now. Dusted down the fog machine?;)

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

haha well I did find out that I cannot wear the boots all day as it makes my feet ache!
Yup, got out the fog solution and everything. Still attempting to plan out things though, it is my Gramma's birthday, my aunt, uncle and cousins are coming and I have a fencing tournament as well as Hallowe'en.

By super woolly Oct 29th 2009

    STEVE WAS MEAN

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

You are going to be very tired after all that activity. Dont confuse your broomstick with your epee or is a rapier you use for fencing.

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

Yes, so I am going to get lots of sleep tonight and tomorrow!
I use a foil, but there is also the option of an epee or sabre, there are slight variations on the rules for each with foil being the most regimented and sabre being the closest to "pirate-fighting"

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

Do you have to provide your own parrot for the sabre fighting then? Remind me not to challenge you to a duel, your fencing skills would soon have me cut to ribbons. :)

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

I would think so, but if I did then my friend would get mad at me for stereotyping pirates and that real pirates like himself get mad at things like that.
Why thank you for the compliment, but I'm not that good yet, I still get really excited and go for the pirate-style!

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

I always go for the jugular, must be my vampire side coming out!

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

ah but you see, hitting the neck is illegal in fencing, no matter what you fence with. I've always prefered pirates to vampires, vampires are boring.

    By CebuLips9 Oct 29th 2009

    hello

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

I didn't say I used any weapon other than fangs you know! Yes fencing is about the body area isn't it.Don't you get points for contacts?
    Hello cebulips.

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

    Good point!
Yes, in foil you can hit anywhere on the torso, but nowhere else. You get one point for each hit that "sticks" (is not a slash) There are several complicated rules to decide whether you actually get a point for your hit or not.

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

    on phone at mo.

    By michiganfrog Oct 29th 2009

That's fine, I need to do some homework unfortunately. Unless you wish to write an essay on how The Catcher in the Rye symbolises the growth of a child and maturity in specific relation to JD Salinger's life, I will leave now.
Take care and keep up the weirdness!

    By Finlaybear Oct 29th 2009

And then I lost the broadband connection! Take care and keep up the weirdness!

By super woolly Oct 29th 2009
