There are 4 moderators on this forum. We do not require any more at the moment.

When we do need more moderators, we will ask the community to vote for who they would like. There is no set date for when this will happen. Please stop creating threads about this, it's just spamming now as we've answered the question a number of times.

Basically spamming (when talking about a forum) is posting lots of different messages all about the same subject. The more you post, the more you are "spamming".

Sometimes people create new discussions about the same thing (we call that thread spamming), and sometimes people post the same message over and over in the same discussion (this is post spamming). Eitherway generally it annoys people!

RichD: Cud u plez make the forum easier 2 manage as i feel there r 2 many pages. Also, wudntit b easier 2 delete threds insted of lockin them?

Sometimes we do delete threads (every day infact).

We only lock threads if we feel that leaving the thread visible will teach other people not to do whatever caused it to be locked!

How would you make it "easier to manage" ?

Well, there r 2 many pages and sometimes if you hav a thred but noone posts on it, it gos back several pages. I tend 2 stay on the first page, so it wud b a lot easier if ther was a sort of search box.

How about if we allow you to mark a thread as being a 'favourite', which makes it appear at the top of the first page automatically? (with a little heart icon next to it, so it's obvious you marked it as favourite).

Also, is there a way u can manage ur own threds? Cos obviously, not everybody can b a moderator, but it wud b gud if u cud delete comments on ur own threds.

Yeh, favourites sound gud. Just another suggestion: what if on ur profile there wer links 2 ur threds?

We're a bit reluctant to let people manage their own threads (it could cause a lot of arguments.. "why did you delete my message?" sort of things).

We are considering a private thread area that appears on your personal profile.. like a buddies only thread. You would have control over that.

re: the Profile page - this will be changing a LOT in the coming weeks, with loads of new features (including a list of your threads).

wicked i think you should have like a mail servie thing where you can send a message to a specific person so you dont hav to say on your thread 'Dear BTD' and you could monitor it so it doesn't contain any swearing or innnapropriate things lol maybe a gd idea its up to you
