    Hello, how are you?
I'm almost done with the lenny set!

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

Hello,it's a bit stressful and noisy here because the house is full of plumbers installing my new boiler. I am sitting in my bedroom, out of the way of the noise and dust.
Glad to hear the Lenny stuff is progressing well.
    How are you ?:D

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

I'm fine thanks, I see we still can't upload...
Anywaaaay I hope you get your new boiler installed properly! ;)

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

Thanks, they are a good bunch of blokes and I trust them. I like the picture you have of Shaun in a chef's hat.

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

Thanks, I think he is going to work at a pizza joint! :D

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

Oooh, do the kids in your area like to play with the conkers?

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

I used to collect them and meda little figures of them...sticking them together with burned matches.
I also climbed on trees to shake them, that the conkers fall down...:D

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

    That sounds fun!
We have conkers here in Oz but they are not like european conkers they look like acorns!

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

We have orange lemon and lime trees at my house!
The only reason I ask if you go on W&G is because I want to show you a picture of the set I made.:D

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

Oh I ate a lot of oranges in my holiday...
I am at W&G-site...it works with the same adress and password...;)

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

    Hello I am back downstairs.:D

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

    Hey ya FB my buddy...
you said it is noisy and dusty in your house...poor you.
    Is everything fixed now?

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

No, I shan't have hot water or heating until tomorrow. Today they have removed the old boiler, the water tank in the attic and the old cylinder. They have installed the new all-singing all-dancing combi boiler in the airing cupboard upstairs but they need to put new pipes in and attach them to the outside meter. They also need to fit some condensing pipes. You probably understand far more about this than I do.;)

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

    okay...

Can I see the opening hours anywhere? Is there a thread?

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

No, all they put is a line of writing at the bottom of the Sheep Talk pages which says something like... outside of the moderating hours of 8-6 the forum is temporarily closed and no postings can be made. This sentence only appears when the forum is closed.

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

I have checked the pics out, they are really good. The duck looks very Aardmanesque if you know what I mean. What are the actual sizes of Lenny and the dog and duck?:D

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

The person you have called is temporarily not available...

    :-(

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

Lenny is 7CM sparks 4CM and the duck 2cm

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

What, can't you get the link Lischen89?

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

Don't worry concon, it won't be forever. It's just to let things calm down and allow us to put some more measures in place to stop trouble makers.

I found this at W&G...katie said it...

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

Yes that is the standard message used on mobile phones systems here but we say' unavailable' sometimes instead of 'not available'

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

Can you put a link to the thread please. They should really have put something like that on here, it would be more friendly.

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

    For you:

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

    :D

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

I agree buddy, their enunciation is terrible!

    By Lischen89 Sep 23rd 2009

    enunciation...difficult word for me...but I know what it means...:D

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

Clever girl, quite a lot of English speakers wouldn't know what it meant.:D

    By nicesheep Sep 23rd 2009

    Are we all here now?

I`m a one who don`t know the meaning of this word.:-(

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

    Thats Ok nicesheep, me either!

    By Finlaybear Sep 23rd 2009

Well I wouldn't expect you to know nicesheep,it is not a word that is in common usage. Enunciation refers to the way a word is pronounced. A lot of English speakers are very sloppy in the way that they pronounce words so that they sometimes sound like another word instead. I don't know if this is the case with German speakers or not.

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

Oh no wait is it pronounced ANOUNCIATION?

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

Darn finlaybear beat me too it!

By shaun the lamb Sep 23rd 2009

I have nick names finlaybear Super Bear, for her lightining quick typing!
