    There called highlights.... When I was very little my mum would give her self highlights though I was a boy I would ask for them two I remember I got one blond highlight and dyed my hair plum. Now it's dark brown.

    I didn't know you were a Muslim stl. Can I ask how you manage during Ramadan with your need to fast yet control your blood sugar levels? Do you have a medical dispensation?

    Diabetics don't have to fast in Ramadan (It is actualy haram to fast if you are diabetic because you are harming yourself)

    That makes sense. I have a colleague who converted to Islam when she married. Unfortunately her husband was knocked over by a hit and run driver and suffered brain damage. He has an exemption from fasting because of all the medication he has to take and the need to take some of the tablets with food.

    Well it came up on a chat with Lischen about foreign words which have been taken into the English language, like' kindergarten' and savoir faire. She said snorkel was a silly word and when we checked we found that it was actually a German word. Now we use it as a little joke.

    Well it is true. A very sad story. My friend said that if she didn't have Islam and the comfort it gives her she would have maybe gone mad with all the worry.

    oh dear. however there is a dua (prayer) you are meant to say when that happens to some one: انها لتنقية it means "May allah bless you do not worrie as this is only purification and allah will forgive you for your sins"

    it may seem like a bad thing has happend to this man but he has been forgiven for all his sins and if he dies he will be granted acces to heaven without question.
