Hello again!
The next update is on it's way soon.
In the meantime, there seems to be some interest as to where I’ve suddenly sprung from so I thought I’d post a little background info...
Somebody quite correctly pointed out that Richard Golezsowski (Golly) was the series director and creator of "Shaun the Sheep" series one.
I was one of nine other directors opperating under his guidance and responsible for individual episodes. I directed ten of the forty episodes in series one(don’t worry, I’m not going to list them all, you’ll have to look on the credits!)
I also storyboarded the “Abracadabra” episode for director, Darren Walsh.
I’ve now worked at Aardman Animations for 14 years and amongst other things have directed episodes of “Cracking Contraptions” and “Rex the Runt”.
When I’m not directing I also animate. I was character lead animator for “Victor Quartermaine” on “Curse of the Wererabbit” and a key animator on “Chicken Run” (mostly rat work on that), “Creature Comforts” and “A Matter of Loaf and Death” (Tango anyone?) as well as other series and advertising work. I even animated to odd shot or two on "Shaun the Sheep" when we got especially busy!
I live in Bristol, UK with my lovely girlfriend Sarah and when I’m not working on “Shaun the Sheep” or up a ladder painting something in my house (DIY never ends, kids!), I can sometimes be found flying kites on the downs.
So there you go, "Shaun the Sheep" isn't new to me!
Take care everybody, until next time.
Chris
