Shaun the Sheep Flocks to the Videogame Field this Autumn in a New Adventure for the Nintendo DS™


It has been announced today that Shaun the Sheep will be launched exclusively on Nintendo DS™ this autumn.

In Shaun the Sheep, the sheep have escaped and Shaun must find the rest of the flock before the Farmer comes home. Gamers will play as Shaun and interact with favorite characters such as Shirley, Timmy, Bitzer and more as they adventure through their favorite scenes and explore areas from the series like the junk pile, the sheep pool and the circus tent.

Gamers will explore areas based on the series, unlock show-related items and work with other sheep to maneuver around obstacles and access hidden areas. Shaun the Sheep is slated to ship to retail stores in North America and Europe this fall.

Players will utilize the DS touch screen and microphone as they experience three different gameplay modes: Story Mode, Mini-game Mode and Collection Mode and maneuver around obstacles, access hidden areas, and try their hand at eight unlockable mini-games and eight collectible slide puzzles.

Five “micro” games will offer players more interactivity and depth by showcasing memorable moments from the show such as saving Timmy from the circus high wire or making a ball of wool to distract Pidsley the cat!

Yes, it will be released in the US too. We haven't been given an official price yet but I would expect it to be similar to most other new games on the market.

Hi Everyone. I'm in Australia. Any idea if and when it will be released here? I am a mother of 2 girls and my whole family are really big fans of Shaun. I have a DS and want that game. Will just have to find a good spot to hide it from the kids. lol

I am looking forward to the new game coming out in the Autumn. I always go on the games on the website I love shaun the sheep tv show I always watch it. My best character on shaun the sheep is timmy i also have nodding Shaun and the calender of shaun the sheep. I love all the creaters of shaun the sheep and i am so happy that you made a tv show of shaun and what he gets up to with his friends.

According to the argos catalogue the games goin to be released on the 24th of septmber (sorry i don't know when or if it's bein released newhere else) costing £24.99 so i'm definatly saving up for that WOOP!!!!!!
